This is not a brand new post but I am reposting from my Anchor podcast after 8 months for a reason. Take a look at how the market played out so far. The big bucks that @Jio, #jioplatforms, spent as well as #airtel, on 5G spectrum acquisition was for a reason. Now, 8 months on, deployments are well underway. Both #jio and #airtel are halfway across the country and as planned both will likely be pan-India 5G networks by Dec 2023. A pretty darn good speed of coverage for a massive country of this size. And they didn't bother too much about Private 5G since that piece was (and still is) under the regulatory radar. Adani did not bother too much and made his call on the parts he wanted.…

Also, Larsen & Toubro would be trialing multiple use cases in #industry4.0 and deploying them for the parent campus and other group companies. Rakuten 's Tareq Amin, CEO stated that he believes Big Tech's entry point to the Enterprise 5G will be the Open RAN model and not the way traditional telcos did telco. Clearly, Rakuten will adopt this approach via a vibrant ecosystem with SI partners like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Cap Gemini, and others.  But do they have all the elements of the solution right now?
